Within this page are two Battle Casualty Reports and two Reports of Death. These were issued before and and then during the transition of Legal Next of Kin to Ervin Cobb from Mary Y Cobb.

The first Battle Casualty Report ( 25 July 1945 ) states that Lt Cobb is MIA. In the second (2 April 1947 ) his status is changed to KIA 15 August 1945 while a POW of the Japanese Government. Also, he is listed as EX-HUSBAND.

The two Reports of Death are similar with the original dated 15 May 1946 and the second (corrected )11 April 1947. In the latter Mary's name now appears as Mrs. W.R. Click and she is listed as ' former wife '
