Return to SSgt McNamara's Home Page

Within the 104 pages of SSgt McNamara's IDPF there are no letters to the family from the Quartermaster General concerning his status.

The below letter was written by his brother, A2c Patrick V McNamara, in December 1956 requesting information about his brother's ( SSgt Alfred J McNamara ) burial site.

The question arises as to why this information was not conveyed to SSgt McNamara's next of kin. One possibility is that the letter(s) never made it to his IDPF.
