Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown         sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
1 cup chopped cranberries
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup chocolate chips

 

In a large mixing bowl beat margarine or butter with electric mixer about 30 seconds or until softened.

Add flour, sugar, brown sugar, egg, vanilla, and baking powder. Beat until thoroughly combined.

Stir in the rolled oats, cranberries, walnuts, and chocolate chips.

Drop about 1 tsp one inch apart onto greased cookie sheets.

Bake at 375 F 10-12 minutes
