Within these pages you will see that Sgt Lawrence W Beecroft was initially identified as SSgt George E Wright.

Part of this confusion is the fact that Sgt Beecroft's name appears in two MACRs (Missing Air Crew Report). The first is 4 January 1945 and the second 1 June 1945
