There are two parts to Cpl Stanley Forystek's Identification

The first was his Identification in the Field in March 1946.
This was based on a laundry mark with the last four digits of
his serial number

9200

A formal Identification took place in November 1947 with
a re-examination of his remains, including dental charts

This section begins with report by Elizabeth A Harper dated 18 August 1948.

She summarized the steps leading to confirmation of X-301 as Cpl Stanley Forystek.
Note that his X number at Koishikawa Military Cemetery was ( X-L )

Paragraph 5 concerns the laundry mark ( 9200 ) recorded in the
Disinterment for Identification document.

The remaining paragraphs summarize the steps beginning
with the reprocessing of his remains in November 1947.

Recommendation of approval of Cpl Forystek's identity
was made on 15 September 1948.

Approval was formalized on 21 September 1948 under the signature of
Lt Col T H Metz, QMC
