Cpl Forystek's parents lived near the Village of Brooklyn Center
close to the current streets of N Humboldt and 73rd Avenue N
Minneapolis, Minnesota
.
He registered for the draft in December 1942 and their their residence
was in Camden Station.
This community is about four miles south of Brooklyn Center.

Cpl Forystek's father died in October 1944 and his mother at
an unknown time moved to 5146 Bryant Ave, Minneapolis

The first letter is from the
Memorial Division of the QuarterMaster Corps ( QMC )
and updates Mrs Forystek on her son's status.

This is followed by the form
Request for New Letter of Inquiry ( LOI )
with a hand written date of 12 October 1948.

The final document is the first LOI sent to her
on 12 October 1948 , signed by General Thomas Larkin.
