Below are a few pages from Lt Grace's IDPF that explain how
the decisions to declare his remains as non-recoverable were reached.

These decisions discounted the statements by members of the crew
who were at various POW jails and camp.

The three letters and documents within this section concern the
Quartermaster Corps unsuccesful efforts to
recover and / or identify the remains of Lt Grace.

Hap Halloran met several times with researcher Mr John Chapman III.

Mr Chapman's efforts were successful and
below is a letter written to Mr Chapman in 1993.

This letter is in the first two pages of Lt Grace's IDPF and
also appears on page 95 in Hap's War.

Page 2 has letters from within the Quartermaster Corps
requesting information or providing details of
the steps that had been taken to identify Lt Grace.
