Missing Air Crew Report 11555
Page 1

The complete Missing Air Crew Report ( MACR ) 11555 has 15 pages.
Some are blank or have one sentence and are not presented in these two pages..

Within 48-72 hours of a B-29's failure to return to base the MACR is created.

In this instance there are members of other crews who saw
V Square 27 go down and gave its approximate location.

The original version of Page 1 below was updated post war
with the status of the five survivors.

You will see EUS ( Evactuated to Continental United States )
hand written next to these men.

Other pages have statements from members of the Smith Crew or
other crews who saw the Rover Boys Express attacked and crash.

With the exception of the names and addresses of Next of Kin,
all the statements in Page 2 were submitted by 2nd Lt Ray F Halloran.
