Below are four official documents concerning 1st Lt Louis Lehnen's death.
Two are Battle Casualty Reports and two are Reports of Death.

The first two documents state date of death as 26 June 1945, the day the B-29 crashed near Osaka.
Both the Battle Casualty Report and Report of Death dated April 1947
state Date of Death as 15 August 1945.

The second Battle Casualty Report states
KILLED WHILE POW OF JAPANESE GOVT AT OSAKA

The official date of death may be incorrect based upon information in the
Yokohama Trial 328 documents
