SSgt McNamara's Diary contains a title page followed by 5 pages
ranging from 17 December 1944 to 10 April 1945.
In here are some details not found in official reports within my collection.
The first page details the journey of the Rubinstein crew
from Mather AAF, Sacramento, to Saipan.
They arrived on Saipan 22 December 1944
and flew their first mission on 24 December 1944.
SSgt McNamara wrote down his shifting to
different Aircraft Commanders during the period
21 January 1945 through 1 March 1945.
These details do not appear in the Morning Reports.
There are no Load Lists for the 73rd Bomb Wing missions
as of this date ( September 2022 ).
The final entry in the Diary is dated 10 April 1945 with his award
of the Air Medal.
The Rubinstein Crew was lost the night of 13-14 April 1945.
