Six documents are within the two pages of this section.
On this page are the four issued in 1946 and in the
second page are two issued in 1948.
The Finding of Death was issued at a time when Sgt McNeill's status
was unknown.
The below documents state his date of death as 2 April 1945,
the day the B-29 he was flying on was shot down.
Also, place of death is stated as Saipan or Marianas.
All this was taking place while efforts were made to determine
where his remains might be.
At some point it was determined that he was in
the Tokyo Military Prison 25-26 May 1945.
The next steps were to determine if his remains could be identified.
This process took until at least 1948 at which time his remains
were declared non recoverable.
