Sgt John William Meagher was inducted into the US Army 19 April 1943
while still attending Ligonier High School.
He did not have the opportunity to finish his Senior year
and thus records indicate only 3 years of high school.

Below is his enlistment record from National Archives and
this is followed by one page from the Fort Meade, Maryland, history.
Private Meagher's first assignment was to the Reception Center at Fort George Meade, Maryland.

On the Page 2 are photostatic copies of his Report of Physical and Induction documents.
