The target for this mission was number 357,
the Nakajima Aircraft Engine Plant at Musashino.
Around this same time Col Crocker Snow wrote in another
mission report that there was
minimal damage to this plant with excessive loss of B-29s.

During the night of 1-2 April 1945
the B-29 flown by Lt Edward G Law was lost .
This was a night mission and the B-29s were flying to
the target individually in single file rather than in formation.
The timing between each B-29 was roughly one minute.
