Board Review

Page 1

On 18 August 1949 the Board of Review recommended that
Unknown X-193 be redesignated as TSgt Raymond Richmond.

A few months later ( 19 October 1949 ) the Department of the Army
disapproved the recommendation.

A report from the Central Identification Point, Nichols Field Manila ( 19 December 1949 )
states that remains of eight unknowns were not able to be identified.

There is a reference to form 371 which is the last document at the bottom.

At an unknown date the unidentifed remains from the Tokyo Military Prison were transported to Manila and buried in the Cemetery at Fort McKinley.

The Manila American Cemetery is located within the boundaries of
what was formerly the U.S. Army Reservation of Fort William McKinley.

Below is the Interment Record for Unknown X-193.

In section B is the code 5325.
This is United States Armed Forces Cemetery Yokohama #1
