The above diagram shows the locations of Osaka Castle and the Jonan Firing Range.

Sgt Raymond Francis Shiber was one of fourteen Prisoners of War
executed at the Firing Range.
The date of execution varies from early August to 15 August 1945.

His remains were recovered at the Firing Range on
30 March 1946 and he was designated as Unknown X-10.

The remains were then transported to
United States Armed Forces ( USAF ) Cemetery Yokohama #1.
There he was redesignated as X-386.

The below pages document his recovery and transfer to Yokohama.
At the bottom is a sketch of the burial site within the Jonan Firing Range.

Pages 2 and 3 contain the 10 pages from a document in Case History 328 ( revised ) 27 January 1947
