There is considerable overlap between the
Recovery and Identification Sections.

The below three documents are all dated in 1949 and
range from a suggestion to final approval of Sgt Welsh's identification.

Of interest is that the one Report of Death in his IDPF
is dated sometime in April 1946 and he was already identified.

Sgt Welsh's identification was straight forward with
dental records matching his remains perfectly.
