Jim Bowman wrote the Concise History of the Law Crew to accompany a
Crew Photo that was sent to the Apollo, Pennsylvania, Museum.

My addition to Jim's history is that the Law Crew arrived on Saipan when there was a shuffling of crew positions and rank. One of these shuffles was with the Flight Engineer.

In the original crews the Flight Engineer was an officer and in the Law Crew
this position was manned by TSgt Raymond C Richmond.

Below Jim's History are two pages from the 500th Bomb Group Operations Diary.
Michael Krehl sent the complete Diary to me ( and others ) in early October 2020.

At the back of the the diary are lists of crews lost in action and in
Page 150 you will find the Law Crew.
