Carrier Row

None of the carriers were in Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941.

A good explanation of their usual berthing locations are in articles at the:

Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum

and

Where Would the Enterprise Have Moored

Two of the below aerial photos have the Saratoga and Lexington at F-9.
They were taken on 22 October and 10 November 1941.

The article from the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum shows that
their usual place was where the USS Utah was hit on 7 December 1941.

When the Enterprise and Lexington returned to Pearl Harbor following the Attack they berthed at F-9 on different days.

One of F-9's functions may have been to take care of fueling and re-supply.

The 14th Naval District and Pearl Harbor Navy Yard War Diary for December 1941 is quite large.

Within those pages are three Gun Fire Charts for the USS Helena with a section of Chart I below.

All three charts are in the
Attack
section

The handwritten notations are for the most part hard to read.
