Most of the documents in these two pages concern Disinterment for Identification, Reburial and Restorage. The details in each are quite similar with the reports generally providing the same information other than for disinterment and reburial.

The first disinterment was made on 16 April 1946 at the Shinodayama Maneuver Area followed by reburial on 2 May 1946 in US Armed Forces Cemetery Yokohama #1. The final disinterment was made on 16 February 1948 and details are in the second page in the Report of Restorage.

The remains were moved to US Armed Forces Yokohama Mausoleum #2 where they would be stored
until returning home.

A key document is the last one on Page 2. The remains have been verified as FLANAGAN, Erle P .
Immediately above this document is a similar handwritten one with a typewritten statement summarized as
" Case requires further investigation and do not release identification information until..."

The dates of these two documents appears to be between August and October 1946
