With the original crews the Radar Operator was an Enlisted man. Another transition took place with the replacement crews as can be seen in the first page below, where the Radar Operator is now an Officer.

These three pages of the MACR show a progression in the men's status, from all being initially Missing in Action to all Killed in Action. Date of death for those who died in the crash is 5 May 1945 while the four who were POWs are stated as having died on 15 August 1945. This may or may not be the actual date of death as it could have been determined as a result of an Administrative Decision.
