The first two Pages in Correspondence begin with hand written letters to General MacArthur from Mrs Ollie Johnson requesting help in locating her son's remains.

In these letters you can feel her frustration and grief of not knowing where her son's remains are.

A letter written to Congressman Albert Thomas on 7 January 1947 begins Page 3. A Controlled Case card was placed on SSgt Johnson's IDPF and on 14 October 1949 this was cancelled.

A final letter dated 4 April 1950 was sent to Mr and Mrs Johnson and contains a summary of the attempts to identify their son.

Permission to use Mrs Ollie Johnson's letters granted by a member of the family
