August and September 1944

The September IFR closes 19 September 1944 with the notation
'transferred' but the location is not mentioned.

Sgt McNeill was transferred to Pyote Army Air Field, Texas.

SO 186 was issued by HQ 236 Combat Crew Training Station (VH)
on 2 October 1944.

Two pages of this order are near the bottom of this page and
CREW # 1204 ( The Law Crew ) is at the top of the second page.

On 28 November 1944 he is given permission to meet his
wife at the Monahans, Texas, train station.

Monahans is located about 15 miles east of Pyote along today's Interstate 20.
