Leonard enlisted in the US Army 17 November 1943
and was placed in the Enlisted Reserve Corps.
He was called to active duty from Camp Blanding, Florida,
on 8 December 1943.

The three letters are dated December 21 and 23, 1943 and
January 7, 1944

Below these is a napkin with
' Leonard's first furlough ' 25 July 1944

was one of the places Leonard worked.

He has reference letter from Mr. Jack Sweetman.
