From Michael Krehl :

Leonard was working with food stock and grocery goods loading the
trucks carts and trailers that would deliver supplies to the general area around Boston.

The JJ Pearce Company would become one of the largest grocery outfits
to provide goods and supplies for Americans living on the East coast of the United states.
(currently owned by Kraft food)

It appears Leonard had made enough money after working a couple of years,
he got acar and drove to Orlando after graduating high school in 1936.

Orlando Leonard employment, Mr. Jack Sweetman owner of
The Angebilt Tap Room & Cocktail Lounge was one of the places Leonard worked.

He has reference letter from Mr. Jack Sweetman.

He also worked at the Green Tree where those two crazy kids met & started a life.

The two of them went to Somerville Mass.
The two got married and then lived there through the Fall of 1938.
