This report was issued by the 877th Squadron Headquarters within 48-72 hours
following loss of contact with the B-29.

This page was included with a letter sent to each of
the family members to allow them to contact each other.

The contact is typically a parent or spouse.
Sgt Olson's contact is his Uncle James B Wolfe, husband of his Aunt Lena Olson Wolfe.

Sgt Olson would have provided his name to the Army at some point during enlistment process.

While James B Wolfe is the Emergency Address ( E.A. ) contact, he is not Legal Next of Kin.

The US Army made numerous attempts to contact Sgt Olson's father,
Oscar Carl Olson, beginning in October 1948 .

These documents are presented in approximate chronological order.

In 1940 Mr Olson was living in the Seattle-Tacoma area of Washington.

There is no information concerning his change(s)
of residence until late 1948 / early 1949.
