Below are the second and third Battle Casualty Reports
and two Reports of Death.

The Finding of Death ( see Page 1 )
mentioned in these documents was released in April 1946.

The second Battle Casualty Report is dated 17 June 1946.

His status was changed from Missing in Action to Killed in Action on 2 April 1945.
Note that the location is Marianas.

A week or so later the first Report of Death was issued with his status
Killed in Action 2 April 1945.

In April 1948 each of these reports corrected date of death to 26 May 1945.

In addition, there is a notation in the Battle Casualty Report

KILLED IN TOKYO WHILE A POW OF JAPANESE GOVT.
