The first few pages below describe the recovery sites at Osaka and
a summary of number of remains recovered.

Beginning in the third document and continuing to Page 3
is a list of each of the 55 Unknowns recovered at Osaka.

In here you will see that some men have only one X- number while most have two.

Two men from the Newell Crew, Lt Louis Lehnen (X-11) and Sgt Robert Pellicot (X-1),
were identified at Osaka.

The others have a second Unknown X-number that was assigned at Yokohama Cemetery #1.

In these pages you will find handwritten names with
the men of the Newell Crew who were later identified.

Sgt Shiber was designated X-10 at Osaka and then X-386 at Yokohama.
