to be at the Tokyo Military Prison.
This list may have been provided by the Japanese government.
This is followed by the Resume of Information and the
conclusion of Non-Recoverability of the 37 unknowns..
Next is a document titled Missing Air Corps Personnel.
The date is 19 February 1948.
Within are the names of 134 airmen who could have been at
the Tokyo Military Prison the night of 25-26 May 1945.
Extensive investigations by the Office of the Quartermaster General
and
the Investigation Division of the Supreme Commander Allied Powers
narrowed this list down to 62 Unknowns.
By 1949 25 of the POWs had been identified.
The remaining 37 were designated
Remains Non-Recoverable.
