telegram was sent to Sgt Walk's family on 4 May 1945.

Sgt Walk's status is listed as Missing in Action as of 14 April 1945.

Next is the form Report of Death dated 26 March 1946.
Sgt Walk had been identified in the field in February 1946.

However, his formal identification
did not take place until 14 April 1949.
