Below are two documents from Cpl Stanley Forystek's IDPF.
This is a list of 14 of the 31 POWs who were buried at the Koishikawa Military Cemetery.

Sgt Goffery's remains were never recovered and an explanation is within the

Board of Review
section.

Some of the documents in Page 2 state his cause of death as malnutrition
and date of death as 4 March 1945.

Corrections to these documents change his Date Of Death to 11 February 1945 and
may be based upon the date in the below pages.

SPECULATION

Based upon the abusive circumstances that the POWs encountered while in captivity,
maltreatment cannot be ruled out as an additional cause of death.
