There are two reports within Missing Air Crew Report ( MACR ) 10458
at Fold3 with a total of 29 pages.

These are divided between the

MACR

and

S R & D sections.

The one page missing in this report from Fold3 is in Sgt Goffery's IDPF

Below are the first few pages of the MACR.
This report was required to be filed between 48 and 72 hours
following the failure of a B-29 to return at its base .

Abbreviations within these pages include:

KIA Killed in Action
MIA Missing in Action
EUS Evacuated to the United States
DED Declared Dead

In both the MACR and S R & D reports are several statements
from other Aircraft Commanders.

There is duplication but they provide very good details.

An example is the report from Major Van Tright close to the bottom of this page.

The details within the reports of both the MACR and S R & D sections

contain execellent information concerning what took place
following the crews' bailing out and
all the way through the various prison camps and hospital.
