Across the two pages in this section you will encounter a blend of
Recovery and Identification.

Recoveries were made between 10 and 14 March 1946 with Lt Houghton being the first to be identified. Unfortunately, his last name was misspelled as Hughton and this caused a delay in his identification.
Formal identification did not take place until 13 February 1948.

Nevertheless, there are documents in between these dates that make it appear that his identity was accepted during this interval. Some are hand written corrections and others have his correct name
but date and cause of death are stated as Unknown.
