Multiple defendants in Yokohama Trial 328 were charged with:

On or about 5 August 1945 at the Jonan Rifle Range killed
1st Lt Louis Lehnen, SSgt Robert Pellicot, and
12 other unidentified American Prisoners of War by shooting them

By February 1949 all six of the men from the James Newell Crew
executed at the Jonan Rifle Range had been identified.

1st Lt Lehnen and SSgt Pellicot were identified very quickly upon their recovery
from the grave located within the Jonan Rifle Range.

The Osaka Kempei Tai HQ and Prison was located across the street
from the Rifle Range, outside the grounds of Osaka Castle.

The details are clear and concise, including the precise cause of death.

the locations of the three sites where the 53 American Prisoners of War were executed.
