Recovery and Identification
Page 1

There is an overlap between Sgt Myhra's Recovery and Identification.

The first document is an undated Report of Recovery by Team 4.
Below this is the Appendix referred to in the Report.

This appendix is a concise summary of the steps taken to recover the
men of the Hahn Crew who died in the crash.

Included is the status of the four men who survived and were captured.
Sgt Myhra appears in the fourth paragraph.

Below this is the first page of Case History 111 that confirms the above information.

Sgt Myhra's date of capture is around 27 January 1945 and
he was transferred to the Tokyo Kempei Tai HQ prison.

On 9 February he was transferred to the Military Hospital and died on the 10th.

There is no information about the date that his remains were cremated and interred in the Tomioga Temple.

The documents in Page 2 focus on the sequence of dates of recovery, storage, and re-storage.
