Four pages from Missing Air Crew Report ( MACR ) 13079 are followed by
one page from Randy Watkins' book
You Are Not Forgotten.

The MACR has one page with the preliminary status of each man
and another with the Next Of Kin.

At the far right of SSgt Auguna's name in Page 1 are the
handwritten letters RTD.
This stands for Return to Duty.

This is not correct.

section.

In there is a series of Battle Casualty Reports and one has his status as
RETURNED TO MILITARY CONTROL



Randy's page is split into two sections.
The first is Facts and Circumstances followed by
names of crew members and their burial locations.



Close to the bottom of the narrative you will find a sentence
with the name of Yoshida Tsutoma.

He stated that Lt Nelson and SSgt Augunas briefly spoke
with each other moments before their execution.
