These letters and replies from the Quartermaster Corps to Mr and Mrs Augunas
were the first steps in bringing SSgt Augunas' remains home.

The form is titled Request for Disposition of Remains.
In the first version Mr Augunas requested that
his son's remains be delivered to a local funeral home.

A reply to this request caused him to change his decision and
have his son's remains delivered directly to Long Island National Cemetery.
