These documents contain the details of returning SSgt Augunas' remains
from Yokohama Mausoleum #1 to Long Island National Cemetery.

His remains were placed on board the US Army Transport ( USAT )
Dalton Victory in early February 1949.

Around this same time his parents were notified
that his remains were enroute to the United States.

The Dalton Victory sailed to Fort Mason in San Francisco.
Arrival appears to be around 16 February 1949.

The journey continued by rail across the United States to
Distribution Center #1 located in Brooklyn, New York.
