1st Lt Herbert Edman
Recovery
Page 2

The first document is from Sgt Clifford Myrha's IDPF.
This does not appear in Lt Edman's IDPF.

The Hahn Crew had two Case Files, 083 and 084.
These are not in any of my documents.

There were seven remains at the crash site.
Three were identified individually and four were not.

These four were buried in a common grave
at the United States Armed Forces ( USAF ) Cemetery Yokohama.

A clarification to the last sentence in the second paragraph:

The men were initially taken to the Eastern District Kempei Tai Headquarters
noted in the maps in Page 1.
This prison was also known by some as the Horse Stalls.

This was not the Garrison Prison ( Tokyo Military Prison )

Following the first document is a page from Case History 111
listing the names of the 37 men whose remains were considered
Non-Recoverable ( unable to identify ).

Next are four diagrams and sketches showing the
layout of the Prison and the location of the mass grave.

The sources of these documents are Case History 111
and Michael Krehl
