Below are two lists.

The first has 65 X - NUMBERS and is dated 14 February 1946.

The second list contains 46 names and
date of entry into the Tokyo Military Prison.

In some documents within the Individual Deceased Personnel Files
you will see the word ' identified ' associated with these names.

Technically, this is not correct as the names are those of POWs
who had a high probability
of being in the prison on the night of 25-26 May 1945.

Of the 62 POWs who died in the fire, 37 remain unidentified.
