An undated letter to Sgt Ray Hopper from
the Quartermaster General requested that he provide
any information that he had concerning the 10 crew who survived the
crash.
Lt Giddings' remains were recovered at
the Tokyo Military Prison on 14 February 1946.
The first document is a Report of Interment ( Reinterment ) dated
21 February 1946.
His status is X-198 ( Unknown 198 ).
At a future date this was crossed out and replaced with Lt Giddings'
name.
The next document is Form 1045, the dental chart used to identify
Lt Giddings.
