There are two navigation charts in this page.

The first was used by the Radar Countermeasure ( RCM ) B-29s.
Note that 4 RCM Officers were on this mission.

The second chart is split into three sections :

The first plots the track from Saipan to Iwo Jima and
the second from Iwo Jima / Chichi Jima to Tokyo.


Last is a close-in view of the route flown to and from the target.

The IP ( Initial Point ) is the location where each B-29's Bomb Run would start.

These B-29s bombed individually rather than in formation and
the spacing of the 120 aircraft can be seen with
the difference between times of first and last aircraft.
