is from Mrs. Mary McSpadden to the War Department.

She had learned from the family of SSgt Logan Sparks his burial location.

A reply dated 29 January 1947 from the
Office of the Quartermaster General ( OQMG ),
informed Mrs. McSpadden that her
husband's remains have not been recovered.
