In October 1949 Mr Joseph Pasternak sent an application to
the Quartermaster General requesting a flat bronze marker for his son.

This application was appproved and the marker is now in place at
St Stanislaus Cemetery
Section N, Lot #161, Grave 2

Below is a photo of the granite marker for Sgt Pasternak and his parents.
The bronze marker is behind this marker.
