In this page are two Battle Casulty Reports,
a Finding of Death, and a Report of Death.

The first Battle Casualty Report was issued on 24 April 1945 and
Sgt Pettersen's status is Missing in Action.
A telegram was sent to his mother ofn 26 April 1945.

This is followed by the Finding of Death.
This report is issued one year and one day following the date when
a crew member failed to return to base and had not yet been identified.

The second Battle Casualty Report is dated 24 September 1948.
His status is changed from Missing in Action to Killed in Action.

There are comments stating his death took place at the Tokyo Military Prison.
A handwritten note states that a letter was sent
to his mother on 21 October 1948.

At the bottom of the page is the Report of Death dated 28 October 1948.

This Report of Death is expanded in Page 2.
