The focus of this page is Navigation.

The first document has a table with data on where the
aircraft of the 498th Bomb Group were supposed to be at
certain times and locations.

Initial Point ( IP ) is where the Bomb Run began.

The Navigation Chart times are those of the entire Wing.

The first of the three Navigation Charts is from the
Radar Counter Measure ( RCM ) and
shows most of the route to and from Saipan.

The second and third charts have close up views of
the route to and from the target.

As this is a Wing chart, the times do not precisely match
those in the 498th data.
