Below are two letters written by Mrs Pearl Strong.
The first is dated 27 March 1947 and is addressed to Major General Witsell.

She is confused about the information arriving from the Army and seeks clarification.

The second letter is dated 16 April 1947 and was sent to Major Coombs.

In there she is requesting information on the other
crew members known to have survived.

A reply was sent to Mrs Strong on 26 May 1947.
