from the complete Case History 328.

Below is a list of 55 POWs.
The first 23 were identified early in the process.

Handwritten names of former unknowns were added at a later date .

This is followed by the document Case History 328 ( Revised ) dated 29 January 1947.

Under paragraph 3 (a) are disinterments from the Jonan Rifle Range
that were later updated with handwritten information.

Paragraph 4 includes information from
the Supreme Commander Allied Powers ( SCAP ).

There are comments concerning Japanese sources and
the inability of the Japanese to be of further help.

Beginning in Paragraph 5 are individual disinterments.

Number 5 is Sgt Wall who was designated X-5 at Osaka.

His designation would change to X-381 when his remains
were transferred to
United States Armed Forces ( USAF ) Cemetery #1 at Yokohama.

The initial information was updated with his handwritten name.

Following this is one page from
Case History 328, Personnel Recovered, dated 3 February 1948.

The first list contains 14 unknowns from
the Jonan Rifle Range and the names of the two who had been identified.

Handwritten entries would have been made later
in 1948 when Sgt Wall was formally identified.
