5325 : United States Armed Forces ( USAF ) Cemetery #1, Yokohama

462: National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific

SSgt Woleslagle's remains were disinterred from the Cemetery on
15 March 1949

Next is the
Record of Custodial Transfer.

SSgt Woleslagle's remains were transfered from
USAF Cemetery Yokohama #1 to the
American Graves Registration Service ( AGRS )
Port Facility at Yokohama on 14 October 1948.

Six months later, 23 April 1949, his remains were placed on board
United States Army Transport ( USAT ) John T Harris.

This ship may have departed the same day for the

Hawaiian Distribution Center,
arriving 7 May 1949.

Sgt Woleslagle was buried on 15 June 1949.
