This assignment involved training with the Flexible Gunnery School.

Following completion of the course he briefly was assigned to
the 18th Replacement Wing at Salt LakeCity, Utah,
while waiting assignment to a permanent unit.

He may have joined the Goldsworthy Crew during February 1944.

Sgt Goffery's name appears in a Crew Roster dated 30 May 1944.
