Within Lt McSpadden's IDPF are 14 pages of correspondence
concerning the cameo ring that was found in a shirt pocket.

Below are three documents concerning the
Department of the Army's request to
the FBI to identify ring owner.

The first is an Air Mail letter from the Department of the Army
to the
Kansas City Quartermaster Depot
dated 18 August 1948.

On 17 September 1948 a short note was sent to the
Office of the Quartermaster General
stating the the ring was being returned.

The final correspondence was also dated 17 September 1948
and has the FBI report.

There is nothing within to
associate Lt McSpadden with this ring.
